2 Chainz to Release 'Pretty Girls Like Trap Music' Next Friday

If you're not excited about this album coming out, you've been hiding behind a rock or simply don't appreciate rap music. 2 Chainz is about to drop his best album since his 2012 solo debut Based on a T.R.U. Story and believe me when I say BEST.

The G.O.O.D. Music rapper is gearing up to release this highly anticipated album June 16th and boy am I fucking pumped. He just released "4 AM" which features Travi$ Scott and was produced by Murda Beatz (who is on absolute fire right now). This is one of the hardest instrumentals I've heard in awhile, but what else do you expect from Murda? Shit's been on repeat more than old SVU episodes.

The other Pretty Girls Like Trap Music singles include "Big Amount" featuring Drake, "Good Drank" featuring Gucci Mane & Quavo, and "It's a Vibe" featuring Ty Dolla Sign, Trey Songz, and Jhene Aiko. The album is also set have appearances by Nicki Minaj, Swae Lee, Migos and Pharrell & production by Mike WiLL Made It, Mike Dean, Honorable C.N.O.T.E. and more.

2 Chainz has been all over the place since his breakthrough in 2012, whether it's been from his own singles like "Birthday Song" featuring Kanye West, "No Lie" featuring Drake and "I'm Different," or his hard hitting features on "Mercy" with G.O.O.D. Music, "We Own It" with Wiz Khalifa for Fast & Furious 6, and "Fuckin' Problems" with A$AP Rocky, Drake and Kendrick Lamar. He also has a partnership with GQ for his "Most Expensive Shit" Series, where he eats the likes of $1,000 ice cream sundaes or plays with $165,000 kittens.

***Also don't forget, it costs $100,000 for a 2 Chainz feature (and this was in 2013)***

Though he has released plenty of material since his 2012 solo debut, I personally don't think any of his solo material has left Tity 2 Necklace showing his full potential. B.O.A.T.S. II: Me Time had a few takeaways, same goes for the Freebase, Trap-A-Velli Tre, Felt Like Cappin', Daniel Son; Necklace Don, & Hibachi for Lunch mixtapes (2013-2016).

These mixtapes obviously had some bangers, but I'm talking about being able to listen to them start to finish without skipping a single track like Based on a T.R.U. Story. Some notable tracks from these include "Crib in my Closet" featuring A$AP Rocky & Rick Ross, "Watch Out," "El Chap Jr.," and "MF'N Right."  With that being said, I believe this new LP is going to prove the 39-year-old ATL rapper still is a force in the rap game.

Along with the new LP, Tity Boy is releasing a clothing line, called none other than "Pretty Girls Like Trap Music," with Gucci collaborator Trouble Andrew, which will feature hoodies, shirts, and hats.

Pretty Girls Like Trap Music will drop on streaming platforms next Friday (use Apple Music) and I'm sure it'll make a yugeee impact on the Billboard charts. Listen below to the hard hitting "4 AM" single.
